ABOUT VERNETTA WILLIAMS

The Music Journey!

Vernetta is a contemporary gospel singer, songwriter and actress.  Equipped with her gift, she has performed at the Black Ensemble Theater in Chicago in the role of Sarah Vaughan “The Divine One,” which garnered rave revues.  She has performed at numerous venues worldwide and one memorable event was when she performed at the Apollo Theatre in New York.  Vernetta performs her original song, “We Light a Candle,” for Cancer Survivors yearly at Cancer Awareness Events across the Country.  Her professional debut album, “We light Candle,” was released in November 2011 followed by her singles “Cloud of Witnesses” and “Where Would I be.” 

Vernetta continues to write music for other artist as well as jingles and children’s music.  Recently, she released her clothing line “Find Time for God” apparel and “So Jesus! clothing line.  Her clothing line came through a dream that she had and states she believes it was a gift from God and she looks forward to sharing those gifts with you!
